Professional Bio
Emily Huelsman is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Trainee in Ohio who believes that everyone has their own strengths, experiences, and unique story to bring to the world. She values creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals can feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Emily is interested in helping clients better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop meaningful paths forward. Emily has a particular interest in play therapy and person-centered therapy and enjoys the opportunity to work with both children and adults. She recognizes that every person’s needs and experiences are different and strives to tailor her approach to each individual. Emily looks forward to continuing to grow as a counselor while learning from the diverse individuals and families she has the opportunity to work with.
